About Paul
I'm Paul Nisenbaum, the ePaymentGuru. As an independent merchant account consultant agent, I help you by...
- Recommending the best payment processor for you
- Monitoring your risks
- Recommending ways to increase your profits
- Keeping you informed about eCommerce fraud, news, and compliance issues
My wife Lida, daughter Galya and me visiting a waterfall in northern Israel.

Before arranging merchant accounts for businesses, I created my own e-Business, and worked as an educator and computer analyst.
Several years ago I setup my own business for providing travel phones to world travelers. If you travel outside the United States of America, then you can rent or buy a global travel phone from my website GlobalPhoneWiz.com.
As an educator, I helped both kids and adults:
- High School Principal, Sunrise Continuation High School, Culver City, CA
- Assistant High School Principal, Shalhevet High School, Los Angeles, CA
- Special education teacher for grades pre-school to high school (various schools).
- Business computer class teacher, Culver City Adult School (this was waaaay back in the early 1980s (yikes…VisiCalc, WordStar, Lotus 123)
As a computer analyst, I wore several hats:
- At Hughes Aircraft Company I provided one-on-one computer support for the CEO, President, and CFO. I set up the help desk system for 1,000 users at a corporate headquarters.
- At Farmers Insurance Company I was the Unix and Windows systems administrator and trainer in the legal division. I traveled to Charleston (paddled a canoe in
a swamp) and Houston (visited Johnson Space Center).
- At Candle Corp. I was a human factors analyst. I visited clients in Philly, NYC,
Toronto, and the Windy City and received their feedback on various software prototypes.
I also managed the on-line help for software with writers in London, Munich, Sydney,
and Los Angeles. Just arranging the conference phone call with the different time
zones was fun!
